Local business owners and community members really opened their hearts and pocketbooks for the 2021 Trees For Charity event and the latest report is that the grand total has jumped. Trees For Charity Chairman Brandon Parker reported to the Vernal Chamber of Commerce that the record total comes to $408,985 dollars.

Public Comment Welcome On Ashley National Forest DEIS Of Forest Plan Revision

There is only a few weeks left to review and offer input on the Ashley National Forest draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for the draft revised Land Management Plan. There has been extensive public participation over the past 5 years through collaborative working group meetings and other public input and the final public comment period runs until February 17th.
