A popular ice fishing tournament is coming up this weekend and one person will be walking away with $7500 dollars cash. The Ice Addiction 2022 Ice Fishing Tournament takes place at multiple locations through January and February with Steinaker Reservoir coming up February 5th. Fisheries Biologist Natalie Boren looks forward to this tournament, which she calls wacky and wild, every year. She says there are lots of options with many pre-drilled holes and the $7500 cash prize will be given to the person that catches the heaviest single fish. There will also be many other prizes. She checked last week and there was 11 inches of good solid ice in the area of the tournament.
