About Basin Now

We live in a unique and wonderful part of the world among good and honorable people.  Our aim is to bring our community together through information, entertainment, and engagement so that we can enjoy the benefits of meaningful human connection.

Our Mission & Vision

We work hard to service the citizens of our area with timely, relevant information in a format that is easy to access and navigate. We know you need information you can trust, and you don’t have time to hunt for it. Our job is to put all the important facts you need right here, in a format that doesn’t try to tell you what to think.

We’d like to see a world where everyone unites and connects with each other through love and harmony. Our way of working toward that world is providing unbiased information and opportunities for inclusive community events and then allowing our audience to use their knowledge and wisdom to unite with one another in meaningful ways.

Our Philosophy

We believe that credibility, integrity, trust, and charity matter; that’s why we’re committed to diligent research, honest and fair reporting, following through with our promises, and serving those who need our help. We’ll do all that we can to live up to those values each and every day.

Why We Care

Basin Now is locally owned and operated by Evans Family Media. Our employees and our clients are part of our family, because family is about more than just biology–it is about human connection.

The people we interact with every day bring value and meaning to our lives, so it’s important to us that we offer the same to them in return. We know that information, engagement, and entertainment can unite people and communities, even across barriers that can be created by politics, ideals, religion, age, race, gender, and more. In spite of our many differences, we have more in common than we realize or acknowledge. If we will focus on those commonalities, our community can be a united force for good.
