by | Jan 31, 2022 | News | 0 comments

There is only a few weeks left to review and offer input on the Ashley National Forest draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for the draft revised Land Management Plan. There has been extensive public participation over the past 5 years through collaborative working group meetings and other public input and the final public comment period runs until February 17th. “The Ashley National Forest, located in northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming, is in the second phase of a three-phase forest planning process to revise our forest land management plan (also known as a forest plan),” shares Ashley National Forest. “Our current plan was completed in 1986 and needs to be updated to address current ecological, economic and social conditions and trends that exist today.” Learn more and find the link to make a comment at fs.usda.gov/main/ashley
