New Naples City Police Chief Officially Sworn In

The Naples City Police Department officially has a new Chief. The swearing in ceremony included new Chief Nathan Simper and Naples’ newest recruit, Officer Dalton Roth. “Chief Simper has been with Naples City for nine of his thirteen years in law enforcement and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position,” shares the announcement. “Chief Simper has made outstanding contributions during his tenure as a member of the Uintah Basin Narcotics Strike Force as well as the other interdisciplinary teams he participates in. Officer Roth recently graduated from Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training as a law enforcement officer after working for over five years in the Uintah County Jail.” Chief Simper replaces former Naples Police Chief Andrew Cox who tragically passed away at his home on October 30th due to an unexpected medical incident.
