Bald eagles fly to Utah in the winter to escape colder conditions in the north and find food making it the prime time to spot one in person. Ahead of the DWR Bald Eagle Viewing event on February 19th at the Ouray National Wildlife Refuge headquarters, Eagle County 105.5 KCLY is inviting all to spot an eagle from one of the open areas of water in the Basin, get a picture of it, and attach it to the banner on the Eagle Country 105.5 Facebook page. Listen in the mornings to 105.5 for your name to be announced! The prize is a $50 gift certificate to Basin Sports and entries must be submitted before February 13th.
