The Rangely Police Department wants the public informed of the best ways to reach out for help or offer tips. Immediate threats such as a crime in progress or emergency, always call 9-1-1 immediately. There is also a virtual hotline where reporting can be done anonymously. Visit the Town of Rangely website and click on the ‘Law Enforcement’ option under the ‘Divisions’ tab. At the bottom of the page is the ‘Fillable Request Forms’ where you can click on the ‘Anonymous Reporting Form’. There is the option to provide personal information but it can be left blank. The Rangely Police Department also shared this week that they have welcomed a new officer to their team. Officer Burr has worked in law enforcement for over 30 years and most recently worked as the Public Safety Officer at Colorado Northwestern Community College. Welcome Officer Burr!
