The famous Sand Wash Basin herd of wild horses in Moffat County was gathered last fall with more than 2,500 wild horses taken to the Bureau of Land Management’s holding facility in Cañon City.

The topic of ATV trails was on the minds of Duchesne County public officials this month as they agreed to pursue funding for ATV trail improvements.
USDA Announces Over $28 Million Dollars To Duchesne Watershed Infrastructure
The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Wednesday that they have awarded $420 million dollars in infrastructure projects around the country, one of which is here in the Uintah Basin. The Duchesne Watershed Infrastructure project will support construction efforts to address agricultural water management concerns.

Man Wanted In Fatal Shooting Now In Police Custody
