The state of Colorado is offering small businesses loans to those that were affected by I-70 closing due to flooding, mudslides and rockslides. According to Colorado Governor Jared Polis, a disaster declaration for Mesa County as well as Eagle, Garfield, Pitkin, Rio Blanco and Routt counties in Colorado and even Grand and Uintah Counties in Utah was approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

DWR Invites All to Help Fight Poaching
All are invited to help in the fight against poaching in Utah. Throughout the state there are already several hunts that have started and the general-season deer hunt starts October 23rd. DWR officers have already contacted 13,350 individuals and inspected the hunting licenses of 5,116 people from August 1st to September 23rd.

Golden Age Center Changing Policy and Opening Its Doors

Uintah County Medical Transport Patient Dies in Duchesne County
Duchesne County Sheriff deputies responded to an emergency on Highway 40 near Myton in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 25th that ultimately resulted in the death of a Vernal woman. Intoxicated Man Arrested After Firing Rifle in Roosevelt
A man arrested for firing shots outside a Roosevelt gas station is in Duchesne County Jail. 28-year-old Tyler Cole Butts was arrested on September 23rd for the offenses of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Use of a Firearm by a Restricted Person, and Threat of Violence.
