KNEU 1250The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is proposing some changes to big game hunting, including a change to a once-in-a-lifetime hunt in the Book Cliffs. Included among the proposals is to allow an individual to apply for and hunt the following species in the same year: doe and buck pronghorn, cow and elk moose, and ewe and ram bighorn sheep.

The Division of Wildlife Resources is making proposals in fulfillment of 2021 legislation concerning the use of trail cameras in hunting. HB 295 instructed the Utah Wildlife Board to make rules to govern the use of trail cameras and as a result the DWR surveyed 6000 hunters to get their feedback.
