Get ready to travel back to 1984 where hightops, big hair, turtlenecks and polos were the fashion! ‘Footloose’ is coming to Vernal Theatre: LIVE. “This show is full of the classic Footloose music that those of us who lived through those times remember and love,” shares Director Jay Haslem. “We are also bringing so many new faces to the stage in this show. Our Ren is a first time lead role in a musical and he is going to bring audience members to their feet when they hear him sing about his freedom. Half of this cast is on stage for the first time and they are incredible.” Haslem also emphasizes that the “high caliber dancing”, choreographed by Taunia Wheeler, “may just bring down the house.” This production has a large cast of 40 people who are working together to bring the town of Bomont to the Vernal Theatre: LIVE stage. The show runs select nights September 10th through the 18th. Get tickets right away at www.vernaltheatre.com
