TriCounty Health Department issued a press release on Monday announcing the first COVID-19 related death in Daggett County. The patient is a male, between 65 and 85 years old. He was hospitalized prior to his death. Preliminary data suggests he had not been vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to contracting the virus.
An Amber Alert that was issued out of Carbon County over the weekend came to an end after the children were located. The alert was issued for two boys, ages 6 and 8, that were believed to be with Derek Michael Rowley, the father of the 8-year-old.
