Plans for a new classroom building at Uintah High School are moving forward. The Uintah School Board approved the Fiscal Year 2023 budget during last week’s business meeting. Included in the $93.3 million dollar budget was $2 million dollars for the construction of a new Agricultural Sciences classroom building at UHS.
The Division of Wildlife Resources announced last week that chronic wasting disease is spreading to new parts of the state. The disease, which affects the nervous systems of deer, elk, and moose, was first detected in the state in 2002 in northeastern Utah.
