TriCounty Health Department is holding an online class today on the topic of non-public drinking water systems. What’s that? David Koons from TriCounty Health explains that some systems provide water for smaller groups or single homes. The class will provide thorough information on protection zones. “You don’t want to pollute any area around your well,” explains Koons. “It’s really important to have a protection zone. You want to be able to keep the water you are drinking or supplying to people fresh.”  To learn the specific rules to keep water safe, tune in to today’s class being held at 3pm. Visit www.tricountyhealth.com and under ‘Quick Links’ click on ‘Classes’ and then ‘Virtual Training’ to get registered for the online webinar. The class will also be recorded and if you miss it you can come back and listen to it later
