Today is the big day! Pinball enthusiasts from around the world will tune in during a live stream fundraiser all to benefit kids in the Uintah Basin. The ‘Flippin The Script On Autism’ fundraiser is raising money for Learning Solutions, the Vernal based organization that provides early intervention Autism therapy for kids and teens. The dream of today’s fundraiser was born earlier this year as Vernal natives Josh and Karlee Roop were thrilled that their 3-year-old son Grayson was finding success through therapy at Learning Solutions. Wanting to do something to ensure more kids in the Basin could get the Autism services needed, Josh reached out to his contacts in the pinball world and the idea of an auction took off with great support. Josh, as the host of the popular LoserKid Pinball Podcast, and his fellow pinball enthusiasts and collaborators are on live at the Pinball Expo in Chicago, Illinois for 12-hours today, ‘Flippin the Script on Autism’. While most of the auction items are pinball gear and relics, there are some other unique items including sheet music from the ‘Transformers’ movie signed by the composer himself, Steve Jablonsky, and the movie director Micahel Bay!
