Beginning Tuesday, August 31st, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations at the Roosevelt campus will take place in-vehicle. Vaccines are available Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 by entering at 200 W 300 N and follow the signage to the designated parking.

A fire that started Wednesday in Rio Blanco County is still at 0 percent containment. According to the Sunday report from the Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office, the Douglas Fire is located about 20 miles southeast of Rangely in the Douglas Creek area.

DWR Proposing Changes to Big Game Hunting Including Hunt in the Book Cliffs
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is proposing some changes to big game hunting, including a change to a once-in-a-lifetime hunt in the Book Cliffs. Included among the proposals is to allow an individual to apply for and hunt the following species in the same year: doe and buck pronghorn, cow and elk moose, and ewe and ram bighorn sheep.
