The registry is through the State of Utah and is a place where individuals with disabilities or others with functional needs can voluntarily report their name, disability, and contact information with the information to be available to assist in emergency response efforts.

Thankfully it was a happy ending after a child went missing in Uintah County on Friday evening. According to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched on May 27th to a missing seven year-old boy in the area of Dyer Park, approximately 25 miles north of Vernal.
A motorcycle ride ended tragically on Highway 191 south of Duchesne County last week. According to the Utah Highway Patrol report, three motorcycles were traveling north on Highway 191 nearing the 258 Mile Marker on Thursday, May 26th at approximately 5:00pm.
A safety alert has been issued for the Green River due to the water being released from Flaming Gorge Dam at full bypass capacity. While the releases have increased as part of the plan to send water on to Lake Powell, the Bureau of Reclamation shares that the switch to full bypass capacity is due to the presence of larval razorback suckers which prompted the Larval Trigger Study Plan.
