Roosevelt City’s State Street doesn’t have long to wait before drainage issues are handled head on. According to Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow, a project will get underway next fall to install proper drainage down Roosevelt’s State Street funded almost entirely by UDOT through the Joint Highway Commission.

Vandals Deface Jensen Fire Station
Vandals left their mark on the Jensen Fire Station late last week. According to Uintah County Fire Marshal Jeremy Raymond, they were notified by a call from the public on Friday morning that someone had sprayed graffiti on the Jensen Fire Station sometime around 1:30am Friday morning.
New POST Program Graduates First Class Locally
The new POST law enforcement training in the Basin has certified its first graduating class. 11 cadets graduated from the Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy on Thursday at UBATC in Roosevelt.

Missing Craig Teen Added to FBI Runaway List
A missing teenager from Craig has been added to the FBI’s endangered runaway list. 14-year-old Katrina Treacy was reported as missing over a month ago and it was determined that she had run away.
