Roosevelt City reported last week that their new fire truck is under construction at the manufacturer. Roosevelt City was awarded the funding for the new fire truck by the Community Impact Board in late 2015. They received a $430,000 dollar grant. That grant was combined with $100,000 dollars in Roosevelt City funds to purchase the new truck.
Once complete, the new truck will replace the truck the city has had for 29 years. On behalf of Roosevelt City, City Manager Ryan Snow has thanked the Community Impact Board and especially Duchesne County Commissioner Ron Winterton and Uintah County Commissioner Mike McKee for their help in securing the funds.
