KNEU 1250Vernal City Council is expected to make a decision soon on whether or not to contribute funding for the BTA Vernal bus route. Vernal City took a close look at the City budget during the October 5th City Council meeting as funding for the BTA Vernal route was discussed.

A Vernal man facing charges including child sexual abuse has been scheduled for a jury trial. 31-year-old Jose Luis Solis pleaded Not Guilty to one count of 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child and six other charges for incidents that occurred in Vernal City earlier this year.
