The County is urging public participation and will hold their first meeting on November 9th from 6 to 8pm at Eagle View Elementary in Ft. Duchesne. A second meeting will be held on November 10th from 6 to 8 at the Uintah Conference Center in Vernal.

Zoning Amendment Granted

A zoning amendment was approved during Monday’s Uintah County Commission meeting. Triple J Services requested a rezone at 3689 East Highway 40 from an A-1 Agricultural zone to an I-1 Industrial zone.

Billsie Pleads Guilty to Lesser Charge

The mother of the girl raped by 4 men last spring changed her plea to guilty to a lesser child abuse charge last week in 8th District Court. 32-year-old Natasha Alissa Billsie pleaded guilty to Class A Misdemeanor Child Abuse and was given credit for 87 days served in the Uintah County Jail.
