Record Breaking Night At Trees For Charity Auction Gala

It was a record breaking night at the Trees For Charity Auction Gala held at the Uintah Conference Center. Monday’s Auction Gala finished the night at a total of $310,300 dollars in donations. To put that in perspective, the 2020 event raised an amazing $210,000 dollars at the Auction Gala and in 2019 the total on the night of the Auction Gala was $233,300 dollars which became the record to beat.

Uintah Marching Band/Orchestra To Perform In Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade

An event intended to unite generations will have representatives from the Uintah Basin present. The Uintah School District shared on Monday that the Uintah High School Marching Band and Uintah High School Orchestra will perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii on December 7th to help commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Ute Tribe Among Those To Sign Tribal Historic Preservation Agreement

The Ute Tribe is among 7 tribes from 7 states to sign preservation agreements with the National Park Service in 2021. According to the NPS announcement, the Tribal Historic Preservation agreement assists Indian tribes in strengthening their historic preservation programs managed through Tribal Historic Preservation Offices (THPO) on tribal lands.
