Ashley National Forest makes public involvement a priority, including their current process involving their Forest Plan Revision. The Forest Plan Revision Draft Environmental Statement (DEIS) was recently released and the 90 day comment period is now open and will run until February 17th. In order to keep the public informed, Ashley National Forest will be hosting two webinars to discuss the Forest Plan Revision, what the DEIS is, and how to submit comments. Both webinars will be held on December 8th with the first one from noon to 1pm and the second from 6 to 7pm.
