Watch For Angel Trees For Santa’s Community Effort

Angel trees will be popping up around the community as Santa’s Community Effort gets underway. The Rotary Club of Vernal set this season’s first tree up at the Uintah Conference Center last week in time for the Trees For Charity tree view and Auction Gala. Each Angel Tree is covered in tags with information about kids in the community that you can purchase Christmas gifts for. The Angel Tree at the Conference Center was just the first of many that will be set up. This year they will be located at Davis Food & Drug, Walmart, and the Uintah County Library so keep an eye out! For those in need, applications to be a recipient of Santa’s Community Effort are still available and due by December 8th. Go to Davis Food and Drug service desk to pick up and submit an application.
