It was another successful year for the Vernal Community Holly Days. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion shares that thousands of locals and visitors were in attendance.
“Holly Days is the largest community event of the year and this year did not disappoint,” shares Bennion. “With the scaled down version in 2020, this year’s event was much anticipated and the response was amazing. The unusually warm weather kept the large crowds participating in over 35 events and activities from 11am to 7:30pm.” New this year was the Christmas Village on the street next to Ashley Regional Medical Center and the live reindeer, snow, carriage ride, Santa visits, and more, did not disappoint. Western Park stayed busy with hundreds of bingo players at any given time throughout the day. Holly Days also provided the beloved Parade of Lights followed by a fireworks show. “The business community was spectacular with over 50 businesses sponsoring Holly Days,” says Bennion. “The generous giving allowed Holly Days to be free to the public and provide more events, games and prize give-aways.”
