Public comment is welcomed as Ashley National Forest works to revise the management plan and environmental assessment for the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. “The current Flaming Gorge National Recreation Management Plan is outdated and needs to be updated to address changes in use and increased use by visitors,” shares the forest’s announcement. “This plan will work in coordination with the Forest Plan to guide management activities to meet the expected needs of visitors while sustaining the health of the landscape and ecosystem that attracts users to the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.” An open house meeting is being held tomorrow from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the Sweetwater County Library in Green River, Wyoming.
