Record Breaking Night At Trees For Charity Auction Gala

It was a record breaking night at the Trees For Charity Auction Gala held at the Uintah Conference Center. Monday’s Auction Gala finished the night at a total of $310,300 dollars in donations. To put that in perspective, the 2020 event raised an amazing $210,000 dollars at the Auction Gala and in 2019 the total on the night of the Auction Gala was $233,300 dollars which became the record to beat. After adding all other donations, the 2019 grand total reached $285,000 dollars. Obviously, the 2021 grand total will beat the old record by at least $25,000 dollars, a fact that shows just how generous the Vernal area businesses and community members are. An updated report will be shared when the grand total is available. The Cowboy Christmas themed tree donated by Melissa Chew and family to benefit Ryan Watkins won the People’s Choice award and the Children’s Choice award went to the tasty themed ‘Candy Dandy’ tree sponsored by RealtyOne to benefit Angela Stubbs. Tree topper donations and silent auction items have yet to be added to the grand total which will be announced when available. Thanks to the many generous bidders and donors for making a difference in the lives of local families.
