Ashley Regional Medical Center Gives COVID-19 Update
Thankfully, the rate of COVID-19 is headed in the right direction but that doesn't mean it’s time to abandon caution. Ashley Regional Medical Center reports that they are still seeing many sick individuals coming into the hospital. The hospital's latest data shows that of the 20 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, 90 percent are unvaccinated.

Redistricting Committee Gets Heated; Former Congressman Bishop Resigns
It’s not a good sign for the Uintah Basin. Rob Bishop, former Congressman for Utah’s 1st District that includes the Uintah Basin, spoke up in frustration at a meeting on Monday as a member of the state redistricting commission before resigning from the committee.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station Now Available In Vernal
Thanks to a UCAIR grant awarded in 2020, TriCounty Health Department in Vernal now has an operating electric vehicle charging station. According to Tuesday’s press release, the charging station takes about an hour to charge an electric vehicle.
Historic Boats To Be On Display At Uintah Heritage Museum
The Uintah County Heritage Museum will soon have a unique display that will bring attention to the rich history of the Green River and Colorado River Basin. The Colorado River Basin Rafting group excitedly shared this week that the Reynolds family has officially donated two cataract boats that were built by A.K. Reynolds in the late 1940s.
