Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is asking for any information from the public concerning a deer poaching incident in Duchesne County. A press release issued this week shares that conservation officers received information about a poaching incident on February 14th near Sam's Wash Road, south of Highway 40, in western Duchesne County.

The TriCounty Board of Health approved a new Cosmetology Rule on March 24th that goes into effect on July 1st. During this week’s Give’m Health interview on 105.5 Eagle Country, TriCounty Health Environmental Health Scientist David Koons explained that this was in response to Utah’s legislature passing the Statewide Cosmetology Facility Sanitation Rule in March of 2020.

Echo Car Wash in Roosevelt took to social media on Tuesday and posted on their page a warning for the community. They posted a photo of a suburban with the warning to keep an eye out for the individual driving it, stating that he flashed a girl on Monday. The police are informed of the incident but Echo Car Wash is hoping to spread the word so all can be on the lookout and able to keep their family and children safe.
Uintah County Commissioner Bill Stringer took time following the regular business items of Monday’s Commission meeting to revisit an agenda item from last week’s meeting that elicited push back. On Monday, March 29th, the Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting included an agenda item titled, ‘Deliberation Concerning The Process of Implementing the Provisions of Utah Code 17-19A-205 Accounting Services’.

The TriCounty Health COVID Shootout locations are now offering Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines in addition to Moderna. No appointment is necessary and the vaccine is available to everyone 18 years old and older. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a single dose while the Moderna vaccine is administered two times, a month apart.
