KNEU 1250The Ute Indian Tribe of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation announced Thursday that they have entered into a historic agreement with the National Park Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior to establish a Tribal Historic Preservation Office for the benefit of the Tribe and its members.

The Utah Department of Transportation is seeking feedback from the public concerning the ongoing Starvation Reservoir bridge construction. “As the Utah Department of Transportation actively works to repair and preserve the Starvation Reservoir Bridge on U.S. 40 in Duchesne County, communication with the public remains a top priority,” shares UDOT.
A local leader’s inspiration has resulted in a new organization advocating for rural Utah. During a legislative trip out to the Utah Capital, Vernal Chamber Director Joel Brown was having a conversation discussing what more could be done to advocate for rural Utah.
