KNEU 1250Updated unemployment rates by county have been announced with a slight downward shift for Basin counties. Daggett County ticked down from 4.1 to 4 percent unemployment. Duchesne County fell slightly from 6.2 to 6 percent unemployment while Uintah County lowered incrementally from 6.7 to 6.6 percent unemployment.
Every year cemeteries throughout the Basin are visited on and around Memorial Day and local officials are requesting help in preparing the cemeteries for visitors. Last month, local officials began discussions on cemetery preparations for Memorial weekend.
