COVID case counts and trends are headed in the right direction in the tricounty area and a change in the Transmission Index reflects that. As of November 24th, TriCounty Health Department reported 8,825 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date and there had been zero new COVID-19 related deaths in the previous 7 days and 14 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations.
DWR: Swan Hunt Closes Early For 3rd Consecutive Year
Locals who had not yet filled their swan hunting permit are feeling frustrated after the Division of Wildlife Resources announced that Utah’s swan hunting season has closed early for the 3rd year in a row. According to the announcement, the federal quota of 20 trumpeter swans was met on Friday, November 26th, prompting the prohibition of killing any swan in Utah starting November 27th.

UBTech made an exciting announcement this week. Zions Bank is greatly expanding its scholarship commitment to the school. UBTech was grateful for the original commitment of $25,000 dollars but were thrilled when Zions Bank CEO Scott Anderson arrived with not only the check for that amount but also four additional checks for a total of $125,000 dollars in scholarship donations.
