A Duchesne store owner was arrested after a controlled tobacco buy earlier this month. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office shares that on May 17th, they were involved in a controlled tobacco buy operation in connection with Tri County Health. A controlled buy was made involving a minor who was selling vaping materials from the My Best Convenience store located at 87 East Main Street in Duchesne.

The man arrested for kidnapping a Roosevelt teen in March could face life in prison. The Cowboy State Daily, a Wyoming publication, reported on Tuesday that 25-year-old Christopher S. Evans was indicted by a federal grand jury last week for transporting a minor across state lines “with intent to commit sexual contact and commit sexual intrusion.”
