Controlled Tobacco Buy Ends In Search And Arrest Of Duchesne Store Owner

A Duchesne store owner was arrested after a controlled tobacco buy earlier this month. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office shares that on May 17th, they were involved in a controlled tobacco buy operation in connection with Tri County Health. A controlled buy was made involving a minor who was selling vaping materials from the My Best Convenience store located at 87 East Main Street in Duchesne. “During this investigation, a Search Warrant was obtained for the My Best Convenience store where weapons violations were found as well as controlled substances,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “The owner of the My Best Convenience store was arrested and booked into the Duchesne County Jail.” Duchesne City Council was informed of violations of the Duchesne City business license and Duchesne City ordinances.
