The man arrested for kidnapping a Roosevelt teen in March could face life in prison. The Cowboy State Daily, a Wyoming publication, reported on Tuesday that 25-year-old Christopher S. Evans was indicted by a federal grand jury last week for transporting a minor across state lines “with intent to commit sexual contact and commit sexual intrusion.” Evans now faces anywhere from 10 years to life in prison and a $250,000 fine. Through Evan’s online accounts, the police tracked his cell phone and around 3:00pm on March 10th, he and the girl were found at a Love’s truck stop in Cheyenne, Wyoming inside of the semi-truck. According to Cowboy State Daily, while in custody at the Laramie County Detention Center, Evans admitted that he knew the girl was 13 and that they were dating and planning to live together in Florida.
