Part of the fun of this year’s America 250 celebrations for many locals has been collecting special commemorative pins and tonight is the final chance to collect the special Field of Flags pin. Only 35 pins remain, reports Vernal City, and the way to collect one is to help with the take down of the Field of Flags tonight at 5pm at the Freestone Legacy Walking Park in Vernal. “We’ll work together to carefully retire this year’s display and prepare the flags for next year’s Freedom Fest,” shares the announcement. “Many hands make light work, and we’d love your help! Pins will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. To receive a pin, please sign in when you arrive and help with the flag takedown.”
