Roosevelt City has announced that due to current temperatures and weather conditions, chip and seal work has concluded for the remainder of 2026. "Any roads that were scheduled but did not receive chip and seal this year will be completed in 2027, with work planned to be finished before July 1, 2027," shares the announcement. "Roads that have already been chip and sealed will still receive a topcoat in the coming weeks. Road lines will be painted where needed after the topcoat is completed and as weather conditions permit." Lagoon Street is scheduled to receive a scrub seal today, Wednesday, September 23.
