Progress continues on the Rough Rider Shooting Complex. Roosevelt City shared this week that the range is currently expected to reopen to the public before the end of October. “Since the complex closed for expansion, crews have been busy!” shares the announcement. Crews have installed 4 restrooms throughout the shooting complex; made significant progress on the 3D archery and practice ranges; completed parking areas for the long range, pistol, archery, and cowboy action areas; and completed earthwork for the skeet and trap, long range, and cowboy action ranges. Now crews are working on road cleanup, culverts, fencing, 3D archery trailheads, signage, shotgun shooting stands, sound dampening, clay pigeon throwers, and long-range concrete, building, targets, and shooting benches.
