A Vernal man is being held on no bail after being arrested on multiple offenses. According to the Probable Cause Statement, on August 19th, Richard Hodges drove a motor vehicle upon a highway while his Utah driver’s license was suspended. Hodges is a Category II restricted person and a .22 caliber Colt Single Action revolver was located under the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Hodges possessed multiple illegal substances. A glass pipe containing methamphetamine was concealed in his underwear. 58-year-old Richard Earl Hodges is charged with 2 counts of 2nd Degree Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, with this being his third or more offense in 7 years, as well as 3rd Degree Felony Dangerous Weapon Conduct and Obstruction of Justice, among other Misdemeanor charges.
