Travel publications are once again showing love to the Uintah Basin and its charms for locals and tourists alike. The Matador Network listed Vernal as number 15 on a top 25 Coolest Towns in America to Visit in 2021. The highlight praised Vernal as a “basecamp for climbers, river rats, mountain bikers, and backcountry hounds.” Responding to the Matador Network’s Vernal shoutout, Only In Your State made their own case online on Wednesday for Vernal as a worthy city to make a ‘Coolest Towns’ list. They highlighted the big pink dinosaur Dinah, restaurants like Antica Forma, Jones Hole, Fantasy Canyon, and of course the dinosaur destinations.
