Vernal City is promoting the State’s Rent Relief program and wants locals to utilize this help that is available. The State has millions to assist renters to catch up on rent payments, shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. The Emergency Rental Assistance program can help renters who are unable to pay their rent and utilities due to circumstances related to COVID-19. Expenses from March 13th, 2020 to December 31st, 2021 may be covered for those eligible. More information and an application to apply is available on www.rentrelief.utah.gov.
