After pulling out an extra-inning win in Orem on Tuesday, the Ute boys baseball team hosted the Mountain View Bruins on Wednesday.
The Utes built a comfortable 7 run lead going into the last inning. The Bruins surprised the Utes posting 9 runs in the top of the seventh to take a 2 run lead. The Utes countered with 2 runs to force extra innings.
The Utes held the Bruins scoreless for a couple of innings then singled home a run in the bottom of the ninth for the 14-13 victory.
Cooper Goodrich went 5 for 5 including a home run and drove in 5 runs in the victory.
The Utes once again host Mountain View Friday.
