Deseret Generation & Transmission Co-operative has announced a change of leadership. Jeff Peterson has accepted the role as Deseret’s next President and CEO. Peterson succeeds David Crabtree, who is retiring after five years as President and CEO and more than 30 years of dedicated service to Deseret. Peterson has previously served as Vice President and General Counsel of Deseret Power and the Executive Director of the Utah Rural Electric Cooperative Association. “Energy is the backbone of our rural communities,” Mr. Peterson shares. “Every day, Deseret Power and Utah rural electric co-operative employees provide safe, reliable, and affordable power to our local communities.
