After several difficult weeks of travel over Indian Canyon, the main work in one of the projects causing significant delays is wrapping up. The Utah Department of Transportation reports that the rock cut project at milepost 264.8 is nearly complete and crews have removed the concrete barriers and temporary traffic signals. The remaining work in this area will utilize a pilot car operation. In addition to that improvement, all projects in Indian Canyon are pausing construction activities over the Memorial holiday weekend. No work will take place Friday, May 22nd through Monday, May 25th and work will resume on Tuesday, May 26th. Still, travelers need to remember that this area is still a construction zone so please use caution while driving through the project area.
