The Union Cougars softball team played three games last week. Monday, the Cougz hosted the Orem Tigers, Payzlei Parrish, Haylee Moynier and Kallie Duncan each doubled as the Cougz won the battle of the cats 10-0.
Taking on more cats on Tax day, the Cougars hosted the South Summit Wildcats in a low scoring affair. The Cougz scored a couple of runs early, then the Wildcats managed just one in the sixth inning as the Cougars beat the Wildcats 2-1. Teddy Oleen double in the game.
The Cougars finished the week hosting the Carbon Dinos on Thursday. The Cougz scored five runs in the second inning, then added five more by the fifth inning to mercy rule the Dinos after 5 innings. Ailey Burgess went 2 for 3 with a double in the win.
The Cougz travel to Ogden Tuesday and Grantsville Thursday.
