Unemployment numbers ticked up slightly from the month before according to data from the Utah Department of Workforce Services. Daggett County ticked up from 5 to 5.1 percent unemployment. Duchesne County shifted from 9.6 to 9.9 percent unemployment and Uintah County moved from 11 to 11.3 percent. National unemployment ticked down from 6.9 to 6.7 percent while the Utah unemployment average went from 4.1 to 4.3 percent. The unemployment numbers will be updated again on January 25th.
