Uintah County Sheriff Steve Labrum has been elected as president of the Utah Sheriffs Association for 2026–2027. Tuesday’s announcement shares that as president, Labrum will lead the association’s executive team and help guide its work on issues affecting sheriffs’ offices and the communities they serve. “It's an honor to serve as president of the Utah Sheriffs Association alongside sheriffs who represent such a wide range of communities,” shares Sheriff Labrum. “Our counties face different challenges, but we’re stronger when we share what we’ve learned, find common ground and support one another in serving the people of Utah.” Sheriff Labrum has previously served as the Utah Sheriffs Association’s secretary and he succeeds Kane County Sheriff Tracy Glover.
