The Uintah County Republican Party is accepting applications to fill a vacancy in the office of Uintah County Treasurer resulting from the resignation of Wendi Long. The individual selected will serve as Uintah County Treasurer until a successor is elected and qualified according to applicable law. All applicants must be a citizen of the United States, be a registered voter in Uintah County, and have been a resident of Uintah County for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment. The applicant must also be a registered Republican residing within Uintah County. Those interested are invited to submit a current resume, a letter of intent outlining qualifications and experience relevant to serving as Uintah County Treasurer, a description of how the applicant will fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the office, and how the applicant will uphold and implement the principles, values, platform, and constitutional principles of the Utah Republican Party and Uintah County Republican Party.
