Uintah County Library Board Reviewing Library Operations with Move to Green

The Uintah County Library Board of Administration is reviewing the Library’s operations to determine what changes will be made with the state’s shift to Green. All visitors to the Library are asked to use common sense to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Practices such as frequent hand washing, wearing masks or face coverings and avoiding touching your face are all encouraged.  “Thank you for your patience with us as we work through new guidelines,” shares Library Director Sam Passey. “People of all ages use the Library in all sorts of health conditions. We’re proud that the Library has been able to provide important access to books and ideas throughout the pandemic. We’re proud of you too. We encourage you to continue to read to your children. We applaud moms and dads who have unofficially adopted the role of being neighborhood librarians by allowing children living nearby to hear stories read aloud and to borrow books. This community spirit is why Uintah County is such a great place to live, work, and play!” For more information on the happenings of the Library, follow the Uintah County Library Facebook page.
