TriCounty Health Department has issued a thank you and update on Measles immunity in northeastern Utah. “Our community has shown incredible resolve, with families, schools, and local healthcare providers rallying together to protect our most vulnerable children,” shares the announcement. “This collaborative effort was essential in managing a response that saw 80 confirmed measles infections earlier this year.” TriCounty Health shared a list of local schools that have achieved over 95% adequate immunization against childhood diseases. Those that met or exceeded the 95% threshold include Uintah High School, Uintah and Vernal Middle Schools, Roosevelt Jr. High, Manila Elementary, Ashley Valley Education Center, and Eagle View. All parents and guardians are urged to ensure their children are protected by checking their vaccination status.
